Full CNC cam grinding machine installed at Piper

Piper Cams have just added a Landis full CNC cam grinding machine to their production facilities. The addition of this highly accurate machine will enable Piper to achieve even better and more accurate cam profiles than ever before.

Closer working tolerances will mean that surface finishes will also be improved and the production time of small batch profiling will be cut.

Performance exhaust components for Lotus Elise S2

Piper have just announced a selection of stainless steel exhaust components for the Lotus Elise S2 which will enhance both the looks and performance of this popular road and track day car.

The 4:2:1 manifold has been developed with the optimum tuned lengths, the result is a dyno proven 4 bhp gain in power over the popular 340R manifold on a 220bhp engine. The manifold is the latest in the expanding Piper range which also includes the Corsa B, Tigra, Mini One and Cooper and the Focus 2.0 16v

Also new for the Elise are the Piper performance CAT and stainless steel ‘cat back’ system which will further enhance the improvements made by the manifold. Piper offer a choice of interchangeable tailpipes on this system - choose from either inwardly rolled or slashcut styles.

New Lightweight Vernier Pulley from Piper Cams

Piper have just released a new ultra lightweight vernier pulley set for the Mitsubishi Evo 4, 5 and 6 featuring a totally new three spoke design.
The ultra lightweight pulley is a full TEN GRAMMS lighter than the leading Japanese make and costs approximately £60 less!!!

The vernier pulleys feature a true vernier adjustment which will allow accurate timing adjustment down to one tenth of a degree.

The pulley shown is finished in Piper’s popular anodised red, but a range of colours will be available including dayglo colours and other finishes.
The Piper Ultra Lightweight pulley set is ideal for use with Piper extra high lift cams.
