To obtain maximum power from your Piper camshaft, it may be necessary to fit one of our vernier pulleys. These ultra light dural units allow for simple, quick adjustment and the graded scale etched into the pulley allows you to be advancing or retarding cam timing will affect the torque/power characteristics of the engine.
However, going away from the recommended setting will often incur losses at some point in the rev range. This is an economical method of dialling in power.

The vernier pulleys feature a true vernier adjustment which will allow accurate timing adjustment down to one tenth of a degree.
The pulley above is shown finished in Piper’s popular anodised red, but a range of colours will be available including dayglo colours and other finishes.
